Panic Room

The opening of panic room is very effective although it gives nothing away. We know straight away that it is set in New York City from the establishing shot. All of the credits are 3d which really draws our attention to the film. The music helps with the suspense as it starts off quiet and then builds up louder and faster as it goes on. We then go from the general to the particular seeing a woman casually walking down the street.
